The wall itself was awkward and genuinely dangerous to reach — ancient stairs made ladder work precarious — so I built a custom platform to work from, which now doubles as a permanent feature of the room. The wall went from flat white to a deep, calming green layered with oversized 3D florals dusted in silver and gold.
